PTA Mission

The overall purpose of the PTA is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.


PTA Values

Commitment: We are dedicated to promoting children’s health, well-being, and educational success through strong parent, family, and community involvement.

VP of Communications: the VP of Communications is responsible for sharing information about all PTA-sponsored and PTA-related events and activities with OFRS parents and families throughout the school year as follows: writing and sending one weekly (Sunday) email via the MailChimp service (additional eblasts may be sent when necessary); updating the OFRS PTA calendar as needed; updating the OFRS PTA website as needed; uploading hardcopy forms, flyers, etc. to the OFRS PTA website as needed; and managing his/her own PTA email account.
